Radio & Communication Systems
We provide reliable, cost-effective radio and net-enabled solutions to fit crucial communication and tracking needs.
SNC TRAX® & Android TRAX Software
As the number of networked players increases, so does the complexity of the networks. The ability of communications devices used by military personnel and first responders to clearly and seamlessly connect and share data with each other is critical to protecting and saving lives on the battlefield and in emergencies.
Yet getting incompatible radios, communications and data systems to connect and exchange information remains a significant challenge. Our Tactical Radio Application Extension (SNC TRAX) and Android TRAX (ATRAX) products put the power into the hands of the warfighter and first responder to clearly connect to their team and partners in the air and on the ground, regardless of the communications technology or the mission.
SNC TRAX was developed to support C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) missions at the strategic, operational and tactical level. Leveraging military standards and commercial open-based standards, our software was built for the non-traditional tactical datalink user. It allows for ease of operation required at the tactical edge, but is powerful enough to provide full Command and Control (C2) capabilities. SNC TRAX is able to provide a combined air-maritime-ground common operating in a Joint and Coalition battlefield. We provide the most capable tactical datalink management software solutions for hosting Link 16 and SADL radios, putting the operator at the center of design so they can adapt to various network types with minimal training, increasing situational awareness.
Rugged & Survivable Communications Systems
We are a leader in rugged and survivable communications systems crucial to first responders and the mining industry. SNC subsidiary Kutta Technologies, holds a Part 23 Mine Safety and Health Administration certification for its Digital Radio for Underground Miners (DRUM®) radio system. Our next-generation medium frequency radios are a reliable, cost-effective solution to communication and tracking needs. These radios use cables, wires, tracks and pipes to create survivable, redundant communication paths underground that extend for miles. The DRUM® radio is a wireless medium frequency radio system that works whether mine power is on or off, post-incident, and even through obstructions.
